Solarsilk launches Novartis / CIBA Vision’s Dailies.com

Today Solarsilk, along with Saatchi & Saatchi, launched a Flash site for Dailies, the global brand of daily-use contact lenses.  A 3-month effort produced this complex site that incorporates webcam image capture and upload, multiple form submission to CIBA’s backend enterprise CMS (Interwoven), a visual “spot the differences” game, a Flash scrollbar, as well as many other tech goodies.

The site was built fully with Actionscript 3.0, employing standard Object Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques.  Much of the content is controlled using external XML files.  The source files are being sent to regions around the world for localization, along with our detailed code guide that will help those developers understand how to edit the code according to their needs.
